Millennial Wines 2016 Chardonnay is a wonderful example of a gently oaked white done right. Sourced from block 23 of the famed "Rita's Crown" vineyard. This wine went through a full secondary fermentation, which complemented the 6 months of barrel aging. Coming from the highest point in the Santa Rita Hills, this vineyard faces south/west on a one of a kind transversal range. Facing this direction brings large amounts of wind, marine layer and other weather conditions that create much complexity in these specific chardonnay skins. It is truely a top-shelf Chardonnay.
