"15" Pinot Noir: sourced from The Babcock Estate Vineyard located on Hwy 246 in Sta. Hills, CA. This specific Pinot Noir is an 80/20 blend of clone 777 and 459. This wine had a lengthy maceration with time split between whole cluster and destemmed cluster cold soaks. Once it finished its 10-day fermentation period, the juice was pressed and begun barrel aging for 15 month on 30% new french oak barrels. The final fun of 54 cases came out as a textbook expression of Pinot Noir from the famed Santa Rita Hills of California's Central coast in Northern Santa Barbara County.
